Dr. Maria Osakwe is a missionary at heart and in practice. She works with individuals, organizations, and ministries who have the shared burden and vision of reaching the unreached. As CEO and founder of EMCOJEE Network Inc., she is committed to creating awareness, raising funds, and ensuring that the Gospel is spread to the forgotten, abandoned, and ignored in poor or struggling communities. Her experience and proven methods inform the decision to use charity as a vehicle to transport and present the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Dr. Osakwe was born and raised in Nigeria until 1998 when she and her husband migrated to the United States. Working from the Atlanta area, they facilitated the planting of Evangelical and Pentecostal churches in various denominations around Georgia, Florida, Oklahoma, and the Caribbeans. They also planted numerous mission fields in Nigeria. She is an educator by profession with 20+ years of experience teaching language arts, multicultural literature, and literacy in high school and middle school. She has also worked extensively in educational leadership, developing a transformational design for school culture, and implementing rigorous curricula for schools experiencing poor academic achievement.

Mrs. Osakwe completed her combined bachelor's in English and Education in University of Jos Nigeria, a master’s degree program in Pastoral Counseling, a specialist in Curriculum Development from the University of Columbus, and a doctoral program at Liberty University in Virginia.

She has five grown children who all share the vision of missions and are actively engaged in supporting and sponsoring missions to the poor and unreached people groups in the 10-40 window.
