About Us - How We Started
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
EMCOJEE was founded to provide answers to prayers of the poor. When Mrs. Osakwe lost her husband, Bishop Emmanuel N. Osakwe, and father of her five children in July 2016, she sought solace and comfort from God. What was she to do now that her life partner and co-laborer had gone to be with the Lord? While praying at midnight in September of the same year, the Lord spoke to her heart about more unfortunate widows, poor children, and forgotten families around the world who had nowhere to go and no one else to turn to, but the Lord. Osakwe asked the Lord to send her to these people. Strength and comfort came from heaven as she started a new job the following month and began supporting the less privileged immediately. By June/July 2017, the work had expanded where she could no longer do this by herself and there was a need to get more organized. It was necessary to have a registered non-profit 501c3 entity to raise funds and expand the mission scope - Reach more people and help more communities. Her children joined her in funding and working the mission. After prayer, EMCOJEE Network Inc was registered. The name is an acronym of her family : Emmanuel, Maria, Chinwe, Okem, Joshua, Elijah & Elisha. The name reminds her that other families are just as important to the Lord as hers is. That other families experience pain, and loss, and will stay hopeless and despondent unless the more fortunate and willing rise up and be ambassadors of Christ to the lost and forgotten in the world.

Our Mission
EMCOJEE is a faith based charity and humanitarian organization. We are a Christian organization whose focus is to bring our target population to the saving knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We provide support feeding the starving, health services for the sick, education for children, empowerment for women, and water for their communities. By doing this, we are able to tangibly express God's love and care for the forgotten poor, and thereby show them that salvation and redemption through faith in Christ Jesus' redeeming sacrifice is trustworthy.
